Important Notes: Some classes will allow students to qualify for a credit by exam (CBE) in a certain CSC class as long as there was no previous attempt of the class. Click here for more information: https://my.csc.ncsu.edu/undergrad-advising/undergraduate-credit-by-exam/.
Study Abroad and International transfer students are limited to a maximum of 6 hours of CSC Restricted Electives (CSC RE) and 6 hours of Other Restricted Electives (ORE Groups A and B). No more than 6 hours of non-NC State GPA credit is allowed in these categories. The number of credit hours approved will depend upon University guidelines on transfer credit hours: https://studyabroad.ncsu.edu/study-abroad-credit-transfer-credit/.
