The enrollment wizard\/shopping cart for <strong>Spring and Summer 2027 <\/strong>will be active on <strong>October 7<\/strong>. To see where you are in the general semester timeline, please review: <a href=\"https:\/\/my.csc.ncsu.edu\/undergrad-advising\/general-semester-timeline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/my.csc.ncsu.edu\/undergrad-advising\/general-semester-timeline\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Computer Science Undergraduate Advising Office now has a &#8220;one-size-fits-all&#8221; form that students can fill out in order to have their term advisement hold released. The form can be used by the following students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any undergraduate who wants to <strong>major in Computer Science<\/strong> (CSC BS, EFY CSC Intent, or other prospective majors)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any undergraduate who wants to <strong>minor in Computer Programming<\/strong> (current or prospective minors)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any current undergraduate CSC advisee who is looking to change their major to something else (<em>ex<\/em>: EFY CSC Intent who wants to major in Biology)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before Filling Out the Form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review your&nbsp;<strong>\u201cenrollment begins\u201d date<\/strong>&nbsp;in your Student Center on MyPack to identify when your <strong>advising planning form<\/strong> will need to be submitted by.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your <strong>Spring\/Summer 2027 Pre-Registration Advising Planning<\/strong> form will be due for&nbsp;students with an enrollment date:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>between <strong>October 30th<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>November &#8211; 6th<\/strong>: on<strong>&nbsp;October 9th<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>between <strong>November &#8211; 9th &#8211; 13th<\/strong>: on<strong>&nbsp;October 16th&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who miss their submission window may submit late, but should note response times will be delayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review your&nbsp;<strong>degree audit<\/strong>&nbsp;for the categories you still need to complete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review the&nbsp;<strong>semester display<\/strong>&nbsp;for the degree plan you intend to pursue:&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.ncsu.edu\/undergraduate\/engineering\/computer-science\/computer-science-bs\/#semestersequencetext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSC BS (no concentration)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.ncsu.edu\/undergraduate\/engineering\/computer-science\/artificial-intelligence-concentration\/#semestersequencetext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Artificial Intelligence concentration<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.ncsu.edu\/undergraduate\/engineering\/computer-science\/computer-science-bs-cybersecurity-concentration\/#semestersequencetext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cybersecurity concentration<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/catalog.ncsu.edu\/undergraduate\/engineering\/computer-science\/computer-science-bs-game-development-concentration\/#semestersequencetext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Game Development concentration<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.ncsu.edu\/undergraduate\/engineering\/computer-science\/computer-science-bs-software-engineering-concentration\/#semestersequencetext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Software Engineering concentration<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit your <strong>Semester Planning Spreadsheet<\/strong> to include plans for <strong>Spring, Summer, and Fall 2027<\/strong> (at the minimum). \n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you don&#8217;t yet have a spreadsheet, use the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1In7ScewqHiN_-bZpfwHfUlHHV-PyKr7ppAwXZ-SUquw\/edit?usp=sharing\">CSC Semester Planning Template<\/a><\/strong> as a guide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure this spreadsheet is visible to the advising team and we can edit\/provide comments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be asked to share the URL for this sheet in the advising planning form.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If available &#8212; review the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studentservices.ncsu.edu\/academics\/courses\/course-registration\/enrollment-wizard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">enrollment wizard<\/a><\/strong> to see what specific courses are available for your elective choices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"is-text wp-block-ncst-accordion\" >\n    <div class=\"accordion isLinked\" id=\"ncst-accordion-kh0ood\">\n          \n<details class=\"wp-block-ncst-accordion-item\" name=\"kh0ood\"  >\n      <summary class=\"accordion-item__header\">\n        <span class=\"accordion-item__expansion-indicator\">\n          <span class=\"ncst-plus-minus-toggle\"><\/span>\n        <\/span>\n                  <h2 class=\"accordion-item__label h6\">CLICK HERE for the Form and Post-Submission Instructions<\/h2>\n              <\/summary>\n      <p>\n        \n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Complete and submit the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfx7ltqvWq5G8AjY4OnJIpDD2LdXwdk5_Z1lonfHbsAclc0Cw\/viewform?usp=dialog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Spring\/Summer 2027 Pre-Registration Advising Planning<\/strong> <strong>form<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>by the due date listed in the above section. (the bold text will become a link when the form is available).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you\u2019ve submitted BOTH the form <strong>and<\/strong> have made the planning spreadsheet visible, a CSC Academic Advisor will review your proposed schedule, respond with recommendations via email, and will let you know when your advising hold has been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your form was submitted on time, the CSC Advising Team will make every effort to advise you and release your hold within&nbsp;<strong><u>24 hours of your individual enrollment date<\/u><\/strong>. Forms are responded to in order they are received. Forms that are submitted after the deadline will be responded to as soon as is practicable, but students who miss the deadline are not guaranteed to have their hold released by their individual date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of the questions you may have about your schedule will be answered in our email response to your form submission. For unanswered questions about your schedule or anything else, we are always happy to meet with you virtually during our drop-in, no appointment needed, office hours or by appointment. During the pre-registration advising period, please try to attend drop-in hours if possible, as priority for appointment slots may be needed for students who have urgent and critical concerns that transcend enrollment questions. You cannot be enrolled in over 18 hours, including waitlisted classes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CLOSED means a class is full, as is the waitlist (if applicable).
