Waitlists are eliminated at the end of the week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second week of classes<\/strong>: Students require permission from the instructor teaching the class to add. The department offering the class can assist with enrollment. Students may still drop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Census Day<\/strong> is the last day to officially register for a class or drop a class without a W for full semester classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>September and February<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Semester Week 4 &#8211; 6<\/strong>: Academic holds are placed on all student accounts. This is not a cause for concern.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Semester Week 5 &#8211; 7<\/strong>: All students receive an individual enrollment date and time set by Registration and Records. Computer Science usually begins pre-registration advising around this time as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>October and March<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Semester Week 9 &#8211; 11<\/strong>: The Shopping Cart opens. You can add items to your cart even with a hold on your account. You simply cannot enroll yet.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In October, the Spring, Summer I, and Summer II carts all open at the same time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In March, the Fall cart opens and you can still access the carts for Summer I and Summer II.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>November and April<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enrollment begins<\/strong> and usually follows the pattern of Graduate \u2192 Priority \u2192 Senior \u2192 Junior \u2192 Sophomore \u2192 Freshman \u2192 New Transfers \u2192 Non-Degree (<a href=\"https:\/\/studentservices.ncsu.edu\/calendars\/enrollment-calendar\/\">https:\/\/studentservices.ncsu.edu\/calendars\/enrollment-calendar\/<\/a>).&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is usually a group of students every hour, on the hour, beginning at 8 am and ending at 4 pm.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The first day of your enrollment is just the earliest opportunity to click the \u201cenroll\u201d button. You may adjust your schedule through Census Day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Late enrollment<\/strong>: After all students have had a chance to enroll, the University will usually send a reminder to students who haven\u2019t enrolled in at least one class by a certain date, otherwise they\u2019ll be charged a fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>External Transfer Students<\/strong> will be notified of the advising process after they confirm their enrollment and will be able to begin enrollment as above (usually after the 15th).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>December and May<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First Day of Month<\/strong>: CODA applications are usually due. This applies to anyone completed with or enrolled in requirements and will be done by the time grades are submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Semester Week 15 &#8211; 16<\/strong>: Final Exams and Grade Submissions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Week After Semester Ends<\/strong>:&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CODA and CSC Concentration applications are reviewed and decisions are sent to students by the College and Department respectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advisors available to assist with next semester schedule and degree audit questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAP and Financial Aid appeals are due if applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Last week of December: <\/strong>University is closed.
