All student organizations at NC State, including those in engineering, must register in the new Student Involvement software, CollegiateLink, at\u00a0https:\/\/getinvolved.ncsu.edu<\/a>. CSC Honors Program<\/h3>\n \n\n \n\t \t

The Undergraduate Computer Science Honors Program provides gifted undergraduate students in computer science the opportunity to enhance their academic experience by doing research or an independent development project with faculty members, taking advanced courses, and participating in occasional meetings or events with other Honors Program students. Honors can be completed within the 121 credit hours required for the BS in Computer Science.<\/p>\n\t \t \n

GEP Thematic Tracks<\/h3>\n \n\n \n\t \t

A thematic track within the GEP is a 12 credit hour option. Upon completion of an approved thematic track, the title will be noted on the student\u2019s transcript.
Upon completion of the thematic track requirements, the Application for Thematic Track Option form should be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Courses and Curricula for approval and notation on the transcript.<\/p>\n\t \t \n
