CV stands for curriculum vitae<\/strong>, which translates to “course of life” in Latin. They are often required when applying to academic jobs like teaching or research positions. CVs are used to outline a person’s entire education, publications, honors, accomplishments, projects, awards, and professional experience. While resumes are typically limited to 1-2 pages in length, there is no length limit for a CV, and they tend to be much longer than a resume. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
