- Why can’t I join ePACK?
- ePack accounts are created right before the start of the semester, so you will not be able to log in until mid August. If you still can’t log in by then, please email Jane Matthews for assistance at jkmatthe@ncsu.edu.
- How can I get my resume reviewed?
- Please start by going through the steps covered in our Resume resources. You’ll receive your Quinncia accounts in early-mid August.
- How can I find internships to apply to?
- Start by reviewing the slides and other resources posted here.
- When should I start applying for internships?
- As soon as possible! Fall employer recruiting on campus typically begins in late August, at the beginning of the semester. However, be aware that some internship applications may not open until fall around September or October.
- How many internships should I apply for?
- Most students apply to anywhere from 100 to 1000 internships. You may have to apply to 100-500 internships to get 1-5 interviews. Reports on previous classes internships can be found here.
- How many interview calls can I expect?
- There is typically a less than 5% response rate for job applications. Using multiple resources for job and internship searching, including networking, can increase your chance for success. Make an appointment with our team for assistance with your job search!
